Give a Summer to Something That Matters.

The Trinity Team

The Trinity Team is a 10-week summer missionary program for college-aged men and women who want to serve, grow, and spend a summer set apart for God.

This Isn't Just a Summer Job.

It's setting a summer aside for God.

Trinity Woods missionaries serve hundreds of young people who show up at Trinity Woods looking for something real. Behind every canoe trip, every zip line run, every dish washed is a group of young adults who said yes to something bigger than themselves.

2027 Important Dates

Training: May 23 – June 5
Camp: June 5 – August 1

How the 10 Weeks Work

The summer starts before campers arrive. The first week of training is for spiritual formation and bonding as a team — learning how to pray together, live together, and serve together. The second week gets practical. Missionaries complete certifications across the property — Rock Wall, Zip Line, Flying Squirrel, Lifeguarding, Kitchen, Archery Tag — so they’re equipped to run everything camp demands. It also includes a personal retreat with spiritual direction — because none of the rest of it means much without a real and personal encounter with Christ.

Then the campers arrive. For eight weeks, Trinity Team missionaries run the activities and facilities that make Extreme Faith Camp possible — serving the parishes, campers, and youth ministers who come through Trinity Woods. Each missionary works a crew for the week.

  • Lodge Crew: oversees meal preparation and clean up, upkeep of the lodge facilities, and running the camp store.
  • River Crew: transports canoes and campers to and from the Namekagon river as well as lifeguards the canoe trip.
  • Lake Crew: oversees and manages the waterfront which includes the Wibit water obstacle course, boating activities, and morning polar plunges.
  • Sky Crew: conducts daily inspections of equipment and runs the high adventure elements, which include the rock wall, zipline, and giant swing, for campers while maintaining safety protocols.
  • Tag Crew: oversees and runs laser and archery tag for camper rotation groups.

The evenings belong to community.

Monday
Evenings are formation and small groups.
Tuesday
Nights are recreation time.
Wednesday
Nights are Adoration — followed by a reflection time.
Thursday
Nights are off campus: laundry, ice cream, a little time in town.
Friday
Afternoons are for cleaning and prep for the next week. Evenings are free for missionaries to bond, spend time in nature, go fishing, or exploring.
Weekends
Vary — some missionaries stay and work the kitchen and activities for the incoming EFC leaders, and some take the weekend off. But seriously most don’t want to leave.

Trinity Woods Core Values

Christ Centered

“So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting the message of reconciliation to us. So we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making his appeal through us; we entreat you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.”

2 Corinthians 5:17-20

Servant Hearted

“Whatever you do work, hardly as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.”
Colossians 3:23-24

Community Focused

“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teachings and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles.”
Acts 2:42-43

Striving for Excellence

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
Romans 12:2

Safety Minded

“You who live in the shelter of the Most High, who abide in the shadow of the Almighty, will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'”

Psalm 91:1-2

What You'll Walk Away With.

This summer is a formation experience — one that some consider the most significant summer of their lives.

You’ll grow in prayer, in service, in community, and in confidence. You’ll learn what it actually looks like to bring God into every moment. And you’ll leave with Christ-centered, mission driven friendships.

Come be apart of an unforgettable Summer

Missionaries who complete the summer program are invited to consider our year-round missionary program — a deeper commitment to living and serving at Trinity Woods, growing in community, and investing in everything that happens here beyond the summer months.
